“Super grateful for my experiences with Buckeye Speech Path. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 3 years ago and have spent an enormous amount of time stabilizing my health. One area that was recently triggered is my cognition-memory-speed, and it had become a huge stress. After working with Nicole and participating in her 6 session program it 1) validated my current state of "normal forgetfulness, 2) provided me techniques to help with memory recall, and 3) taught me techniques to monitor brain overload which is so common in the world we live in today. For anyone looking for a way to reconnect with the way they think and organize their brain, you should connect with Nicole."

Why should I see a Speech-Language Pathologist?

SLP's have their Master’s Degree and complete a 9 month clinical fellowship year. They work with people across the life span, from birth to end of life. They develop strong counseling skills and help people through challenging times. They can diagnose and treat patients, and they are knowledgeable to help create referrals to other specialists, if needed. They are the experts on human communication and are life long learners as they maintain a high level of continuing education requirements. For these reasons alone, you should always reach out to a SLP for additional consultation, after you have discussed your concerns with a physician.
